Video of a fresh-faced, perm-sporting Susan Boyle confidently singing a Barbara Streisand track to a room full of football fans in 1984 has been unearthed.

*It was supposed to be a nice, stress-free visit to her alma mater Stanford University, but Condoleezza Rice instead ended up in the middle of a heated exchange with a student over the issue of tortureand it was all caught on tape. In the clip, the former Secretary of State under George W. Bush attended a reception at one of the dorms on Monday when a student approached her with questions about authorizing the use of torture. Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer for the urban dance-pop act The Pussycat Dolls, said the group's recent No. 1 hit, "When I Grow Up," is very much autobiographical. After all, in addition to "living the glamorous life" and having plenty of fascinating stories to tell, Scherzinger is well aware that being on the road can be incredibly lonely.
