Stunning! Susan Boyle Finishes Second in Britain's Got Talent (incl. video)
I'm stunned, as are many. Susan Boyle lost Britain's Got Talent to the ten-person dance crew Diversity. I'm so stunned and upset that rather than saying "Diversity Wins," I would rather say "Susan Boyle Loses."

Jay Leno to End Tonight Show Run
This is the end. Yep, the end of Jay Leno's run on The Tonight Show. Tonight's episode ends Leno's 17-year run as host of NBC's flagship late night show. He will hand over the program to Conan O'Brien. Unlike Johnny Carson, who retired when giving the reins to Leno, Jay will return in the fall with a new, prime-time show called "The Jay Leno Show."

Long Wharf Theatre alters play's perspective in well acted "Glass Menagerie"
Most great plays are immune to the vagaries of directors who wish to put their own imprint on them. Shakespeare's works have suffered and survived many a fanciful conceit and still shone through. The plays of Tennessee Williams, though, are seldom re-envisioned, save perhaps his own flight of fancy, "Camino Real.

Review: 'Up' leaves you on a high
For a little while, it looks like "Up," Pixar's 10th feature-length film, is going to be a downer. Such misgivings are ill-founded. As far as razzmatazz goes, "Up" delivers the goods. Not penguins, precisely, but more than the airborne house promised by the commercials.

It would mark her first appearance in court since felony assault and criminal threats charges were filed against Brown in March. If she is called to testify, the 21-year-old singer would be subject to cross-examination by Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos.

Spielberg To Produce Epic MLK, Jr. Bio-Pic: Deal sets off another fight between King siblings.
*Steven Spielberg, Suzanne de Passe and Madison Jones are set to produce a biopic on slain civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. for DreamWorks, which has acquired rights to his life story, reports Variety. The dal was made with King's son, Dexter. King, who was assassinated in 1968 in Memphis at the age of 39, copyrighted his speeches, books and famous works during his lifetime. Dexter, who is chairman and CEO of King Inc, has been embroiled in a legal tussle with his siblings Bernice King and Martin Luther King III over who controls the personal papers of their late mother, Coretta Scott King, among other things. And it looks like Dexter, and possibly Dreamworks, is going to be imbroiled in yet another legal tussle with Bernice and Martin, III because, according to the Associated Press, they're not too thrilled with the agreement. "This is a deal that Mr. Spielberg and his people ... have entered into believing that they have the blessing of The King Estate. They don't have the blessings of Bernice and Martin King," Bernice King told The in a telephone interview on Tuesday after finding out about the arrangement in an e-mail from Dexter King.
