When Christopher Moore isn't jumping rope, shooting baskets or playing the board game Chutes and Ladders, the 8-year-old can often be found at home using his ninja fighting skills, protecting the world from would-be enemies.
Obama Has Oops Moment On Leno: He apologizes for Special Olympics gaffe.
*President Barack Obama has apologized to the chairman of the Special Olympics for his late-night talk show quip equating his bowling skills to those of athletes with disabilities. Appearing on "The Tonight Show" Thursday, the president told host Jay Leno he'd been practicing at the White House's bowling alley but wasn't happy with his score of 129. Then he remarked: "It was like the Special Olympics or something." The audience laughed, but the White House quickly recognized the blunder.


This comedy-drama is about a queasy subject
Let me candidly admit that I have never been as bowled over by the work of Paula Vogel as many critics. Her plays, including "How I Learned to Drive," currently at the Ridgefield Theater Barn, "The Baltimore Waltz" and "A Civil War Christmas" have always seemed longer on concept than on solid theater.
