There's nothing terribly unusual about Mike Gardner's home in Cumming, Georgia -- except in the basement where there lives a world of action figures. He's one of many hardcore "G.I. Joe" collectors who rediscovered the figures in the 1990s when Hasbro started releasing new versions of the classic 1960s and 1970s models.

Bible stories set to music in Richter's "Children of Eden" in Danbury
"Children of Eden," a musical based on stories from the Bible, with a score by Ridgefield composer Stephen Schwartz, is the closing show at Danbury's popular outdoor theater, Musicals at Richter.It's a big show -- 50 performers, 34 songs, and a plot that would rival Wagner's Ring Cycle.
