Vick Plays, Gets Love, Eagles Win (Video Highlights)
New Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick made his second NFL debut last night in a 33-32 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Of course technically it was his 2nd debut in the NFL because he was out of the league while serving almost 2 years in federal prison on dog-fighting charges. By the way, it didn't take long for Eagles coach Andy Reid to put the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback into the game. Surprisingly, for some folks, he was greeted with lots of love from the Philly fans. After being out of the game for so long, it was only natural that Vick showed signs of rust. He completed four of four pass attempts for 19 yards. He also rushed for one yard on one carry. "It was unbelievable the way I was embraced and the warm welcome I received," Vick said. "It actually made me screw up one of my reads. I wanted to please the crowd and I actually made a bad play." Click over to check out Vick's video highlights from Thursday night's game

Disturbing Details of Rihanna beating Revealed: Plus, Brown's other beatings of singer confirmed
*The officer's report from the night Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna was revealed by the court on Wednesday and provides a horrific account of the beating in graphic detail. According to the report, police responded to 911 calls of a "screaming woman" -- and eventually arrived on scene to find a "very upset and crying" Rihanna sitting in the driver's seat of a parked vehicle. Rihanna told the officer she got into an argument with Brown over something that had occurred at an event they were at earlier in the evening. "The victim said she became enraged and slammed both of her fists against the dashboard on the passenger side of the car they were in," the document stated. "She reported that the defendant then pulled the vehicle over and reached over her with his right hand. He opened the car door and tried to force the victim out." According to the report, Brown was unable to shove Rihanna out of the car because she was wearing a seatbelt. The report continues, "When he could not force her to exit, he took his right hand and shoved her head against the passenger window of the car.

*We knew he'd be back, but we thought there would be a lot more drama, hand wringing and haggling etc. on the part of the various NFL teams that wanted the services of Michael Vick, the shamed Atlanta Falcons quarterback and recent ex-con. But as far the Philadelphia Eagles are concerned, it was no problem. Coach Andy Reid is making no bones about it. He wants to give Vick a second chance. Here's the bottom line. Vick will make $1.6 million for the first year. The Eagles have an option on the second year for $5.2 million. The deal was reached Tuesday, but wasn't finalized until Thursday. But the thrill of Vick being signed isn't being shared by the animal rights group PETA. They say they'll remain in the haters column. "PETA and millions of decent football fans around the world are disappointed that the Philadelphia Eagles have chosen to sign a man who hanged dogs from trees, electrocuted them with jumper cables, held them underwater until they drowned in his swimming pool, and even threw his own family dogs into the fighting pit to be torn to shreds while he laughed," said the group in a statement. Speaking of which, Vick is appearing on CBS' "60 Minutes" this Sunday at 7 p.m. ET/PT. He tells CBS Sports "NFL TODAY" anchor James Brown the dogfights were "wrong" and he feels badly about participating in them and that he deserves to have lost all he did. The quarterback, who's now getting a second chance, also talks about his time in prison, where he says he had time to think about what he had done, realized what he had lost and often cried at night in his cell. *You can't judge an album by its cover, but then again maybe you can. At first glance of Sam and Ruby's new CD, "The Here And The Now," you notice the serenity of what seems to exist in the world. You may also notice that they are an interracial duo. But, that is not the focus they want you to have. Sam and Ruby is a new music group that is using their strong suits to create an innovative sound that comes from the heart. Defined as "folksy pop" by EURweb's Lee Bailey, the duo's music is informed by their own personal experiences as well as what they have observed in the lives of others. Ruby writes the lyrics and Sam is behind the music. They wake up with lyrics and music on their minds, respectively.

Unleashing Palin On Obama: Political experimentation on a whole 'nother level.
It's not about change-it's about power. It's not about saving the nation-it's about controlling it. The experimentation has begun. But just know the political monster-set to reverse President Obama's health care reform agenda has been unleashed. *Last week I outlined the motives for former Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin, resigning her office. To be the national spokesperson for the Republican right wing was worth a state pension.
