Hollywood's never ending remakes
Who you gonna reboot? In the era of the remakes, reboots and do-overs, it is safe to say that no film is being left to gather dust if at one point or another it gathered audiences.
In fact it would seem that all a development exec in Hollywood needs to do their job nowadays is a Blockbuster card! From Star Trek to Batman, Psycho to Friday the 13th, more and more the concept of the sequel or even the prequel is being abandoned for a much simpler 're-imagining' of the original plot.
